Create an inventory first
Divide items into groups: keep and move, store, donate or reuse, dispose through approved channels, or clarify separately because the material is unknown.
Photographs and a room-by-room list help identify large furniture, fragile items, access restrictions and items requiring disassembly.
Plan the sequence
Confirm stairs, lifts, entrances, parking, surface protection, dismantling, packing materials, disposal arrangements and the expected handover condition.

- plan when rooms must be empty for follow-on work
Set assembly boundaries
Furniture can be assembled according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Prefabricated kitchens may be set up without electrical, gas, water or ventilation connection work. Those connections must be carried out by the appropriate qualified specialist contractor.
Coordinate without blurring responsibility
Project coordination can organise appointments, access and the sequence of separate trades. It does not replace their technical responsibility, supervision or acceptance duties.
